Cerise Island, we all know of the tragedy that's happening as we speak.
Well, we have these kinda things happen sometimes, and it sucks. However, due to the immenent, and the fact that this site could go down at MD's whim any second kinda sucks.
Crow and I have a forum being ran, and we'd like you all to come over there. When you're over there, you'll be thrown in a special usergroup, and we'll keep you updated on this new forum MD is making. So, you will all have the link once we get it, and that sort of stuff. We'll also keep as much news flowing as possible.
So, please join our forum, so that we can all stay together and stuff. You don't have to sign up if you don't want to, but our main worry is that we don't know WHEN MD will take this site down. If you really don't wish to j...

Is there somebody here at Cerise, you feel deserves recognition from the forum? Perhaps somebody wrote the single funniest post you've ever heard? Mabye somebodies just the been the nicest guy you know, and really helped you feel welcome here?
Whatever it is, I implore my friends, pm me with the 'award' you want them to receive, and I will do my best to include them in the award ceremony.
Also, remember to check the award ceremony thread in the Village (if you havn't already left, in which case you're probably not reading this). You never know, you may ever have won something! Or you could just take a seat and enjoy the festivities!
Whatever you do, please help me make Cerise Island go out with a bang!

It seems as though we've come to the end of the line guys. Amazingly enough.
Cerise is pretty much dead. =\ Sadly.
Several things I'd like to discuss here, in what is probably one of my last announcement threads.
First off, my thanks to my moderators and my fellow administrators for helping to make one of the greatest mid-size Pokemon forums ever to exist. Secondly, to all who visited and posted on Cerise and helped it grow and make it an interesting place to be. 
Next, the reasons for the forum's death.

| Announcement: DDOS Attack |

Hey guys,
I sent an e-mail out, but might as well just put it here as well. As you know there was a ddos attack that hit our server, last week. The forums itself are protected by a ddos attack, but obviously the rest of the server isn't. =\ So our host went and blocked web access to our account, to at least make certain the ddos attack didn't do anything.
Unfortunately there's not really a whole lot you can do against a ddos attack, outside of what was done, including the static html page that I put up around wed of last week.
Even if we knew who had performed the attack, it'd still be kinda difficult to do a whole lot about it.
Anyway, the place is finally back up, the attack subsided late last week, and web access was restored and I was able to bring it back up.

I've installed a mod which allows the admins to set, per user, who can change their name. At the moment, everyone's apparently set to "off". So if you want the privilege , pm us, and we'll set it to on. Or if you bought the privilege , pm us and we'll set it to on.
The mod was installed to prevent name change privilege abuse.  So, there you go. xp
