The following are all of the series of card sets that exist for the Pokemon TCG. Wizards of the Coast was the publisher for all of the sets up to and including the Skyridge Set when Nintendo took over starting with the beginning of the EX series. Each series contains a unique stamp somewhere on the card to identify it's series, except for the Base Set which had none. Also, until the Ex sets, all sets had a first edition printing, with a corresponding first addition stamp which made those cards both rarer and more valuable. With the Ex sets, this stamp was no longer used.
