In Layman's Terms

No doubt you've seen style switchers on other pokemon sites, but none of those sites has the customizability of pokemonfan.net's style switcher. Basically our style switcher on pokemonfan.net allows you to do two things. First, you can select from a nice range of different layout designs. Or you can choose to customize your own layout! Just select your colors, choose your background, and click apply! It's that simple.

Type Divisions Title Page

Welcome to the Type Divisions section. The Type Divisions is one of the bigger projects on Pokemonfan.net and it's been a bit of a work in progress for me throughout my entire career as a webmaster.  In any event, the point of the Type Divisions section is to break each of the 17 different types in the games down and go over each type individually.  In each type's page you'll see all the pokemon that exist within that type (category) which will give you at a glance knowledge and better control of creating and designing your pokemon team.  Furthermore, each pokemon that has a second type (dualtype pokemon) will be linked to their second type.  In addition to listing all the pokemon, in each type, each individual type will also provide summary and analysis of that type's strengths, weaknesses, and variety in pokemon and moves.  Furthermore there'll also be a list in each type of what we believe are the top 5 best pokemon of that type.

Generally speaking though, having several different types represented in your team is always a good thing so that you can cover your pokemon's weaknesses to as many OUs as possible.  Thus, this section will attempt to facilitate a trainer's selection process and just generally make things a little easier. :P
